Western Winter Sports Representatives Association, Inc. (“WWSRA” or “we”)  firmly believes that the Internet should be available to everyone, and we are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the broadest possible audience. In support or our commitment, we have developed this policy to be transparent about our mission and the efforts we have taken in this regard. If you have any questions related to this policy or our website located at www.wwsra.com (the
website”), please contact us at the e-mail address set forth below.

To support our efforts in meeting and exceeding the standards of the American with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), we have partnered with AccessiBeTM, a third-party service provider that continuously monitors and adjusts our website to provide an inclusive digital environment for our users. AccessiBe does not collect or store personally identifiable information of website users, but they may process anonymous technical data (such as screen size, browser type, or interface preferences, to optimize accessibility features in real time. WWSRA does not use AccessiBe to track users. For more information, you can view AccessiBe’s privacy policy on their website here: https://accessibe.com/privacy-policy.

In order to make WWSRA’s website accessible to all users, we aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. These guidelines provide a comprehensive framework for ensuring digital content is accessible to individuals with a wide array of disabilities, including those who are blind, have visual or motor impairments, cognitive disabilities and more.

Specifically, WWSRA’s website utilizes the following technologies that are meant to make our website as accessible as possible for everyone:

Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various behavioral changes, to ensure visually impaired users visiting with screen-readers can read, comprehend, and enjoy our website’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters our site, the user immediately receives a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile so they can browse and operate our website effectively. These adjustments are compatible with popular screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
